Rediscover a love of trading card games with Runes of Zun!
A new take on the trading card game
Here is a pitch for a tabletop card game: Take all of the most exciting and fun moments from every type of card game and put them in an easy-to-learn-hard-to-master format. Believe it or not, this great concept exists, and it is called Runes of Zun from Gobico games. In this deck-building game, players take part in a variety of exciting mechanics, from “take-that” combo-making to random, luck-of-the-draw deck collection. Using these many mechanics, the Runes of Zun creates a balanced gameplay experience that is quick to play but has a lot of strategic and tactical depth to it. Though it plays a little like a CCG, there's no collecting, everyone plays from the same deck, so each game is evenly matched and has its own unique experience!
The Runes of Zun was created to solve the classic pay-to-win problem of deck construction games. So, the team at Gobico games created a card game based around one consistent deck and a joy of exciting, but fair competition. And with this goal achieved, the Runes of Zun is the perfect game to both bring in hardened trading card-players or a friend who just has a few Pokemon Cards stuffed in a shoebox somewhere. And, with a wonderful art style, the Runes of Zun matches creative gameplay with a fully realized minimalist aesthetic!
The team at Gobico games has used Tabletop Simulator to playtest the Runes of Zun as well as its three expansions. You can check out their mod here! Also, be sure to check out their website for more information on purchasing Runes of Zun and its expansions!

Enjoy some fast action heisting…and chickens in Chicken Heist
The push your luck card game
Most iconic movies would be better if the cast were replaced with chickens. Star Wars? The Godfather? How about Oceans Eleven? If that last one piqued your interest, then we think you should play Chicken Heist from Fourtato games! You and your friends take on the role of a gang of chickens who are trying to strike it rich by robbing a bank. The objective is simple: to be the richest chicken by the end of the heist. The longer you stay in the heist, the more money you can potentially get, however that doesn’t mean you will be safe. You and your fellow chickens will encounter more and more dangerous events along the way. It is your choice if you want to stay in the heist or runaway and chicken out! Using a combination of card mechanics and push your luck elements, Chicken Heist brings this hilarious premise to life in a fast-moving board game that will keep you and your friends on the edge of your seats!
Chicken Heist was created as a game simple enough to get people immediately involved, but deep enough to keep people engaged and on the edge of their seats. To do this, the team at Fourtato games has added plenty of surprises and twists to their game. This uncertainty is paired with a competitive strategy that will keep each player on the defensive and ready to strike it rich...even at the expense of their fellow heist members!
The team behind Chicken Heist moved their game to Tabletop Simulator to be sure that as many people as possible can take part in its wonderful premise. Check out their mod here! Also, be sure to check out their website for ordering info and everything Chicken Heist!

Take your friends on the road to a championship belt in Square Ring: Strategic Boxing
Bringing strategy and depth to the classic fighting game
The world of sports-based tabletop games can sometimes be a mess of stat-heavy focus and excessive sideline-ing that can take the focus off of the sport itself. Square Ring: Strategic Boxing fixes this issue by putting the focus on what matters in a boxing board game: two friends hitting each other. But Square Ring is much more than just a cardboard punch-em-up, this game combines secret-move mechanics, unique boxer and coach profiles, and a between-round strategy to create a fast-moving yet incredibly strategic board game that never lets your mind wander too far from the ring! And, because of the many different boxer and coach combinations, Square rng is a wholly asymmetrical experience. The result is a tabletop experience that reflects the diversity, thought, and thrill of a boxing match. And, though rules are easy to learn, the match-up permutations come to almost 1700, making Square Ring an incredibly replayable experience.
Square Ring was created to bring consideration to the complexity, thought, and positioning needed for boxing to a type of game that has historically relied on simply “hitting”. The result is a fighting game that pairs excitement with thought and strategy. This, paired with addictive replayability, and a beautifully illustrated cast of boxers and coaches is guaranteed to make Square Ring a game night staple!
The team behind Square Ring has used Tabletop Simulator to bring their unique fighting game to a wider audience to make sure their creation is the best it can be! You can check out their mod here!
